Our Monaco had regular sliding windows and they worked well. You could open them up for good ventilation and even pass things out the window because the screen would slide too. It was nice to slide them open sometimes if you wanted to see what was going on (they were tinted dark) especially at night.
Our new coach has the frameless and they look great, but you lose some of the view and the circulation is really cut back. It wouldn't be a deal breaker for me, but I liked the sliding windows better.
