Our favourite time of year for camping is fall. Up until 2 years ago we always camped the end of september about 200 miles north of Chapleau Ontario, in a tent. It was wonderful, we would not see a sole for over 2 weeks. No cell... no services at all. We carried in water and gas for the boat. There was never an airplane flying above. It was cool during the day and cold at night. Not fun digging a hole in the middle of the night if nature called. We had our nightly visitors, we respected the bears and they never bothered us or our stuff. We would see the same ones daily. We have not had time to do this lately but miss it immensely. Taking the TT is not an option. We plan to take the TT out this fall, where? We don't like planning ahead.
