BUT if it's just Raining (NOT BLOWING) we'll sit out under the awning and enjoy watching it with a couple of hot toddies :B - hbradyExplorerWe play farkle or Uno mostly, DW hates cribbage which really stinks because I love it.
- downtheroadExplorerbackgammon
- RVcrazyExplorerWe currently play crazy eights, rummy, and farkle quite a bit. We don't yet know how to play hand & foot. We used to play Casino & Spades with two, but have to relearn.
- CroweExplorerCribbage mostly.
- hotpepperkidExplorerWe play hand foot and tail
- DrewEExplorer IIThere aren't very many really good two-person card games that I know of. Cribbage is by far the most enjoyable one I know of, and it takes an awful lot for it to get stale for me.
For board games and similar, Boggle can be a lot of fun, and many of the other traditional standards are still good: chess, checkers, backgammon, reversi/Othello, and Scrabble are all good with just two people.
What games are stale to you is rather hard for me to determine via ESP, but perhaps some of these might be of interest.
