You are looking for this sticker, usually on the driver's door or door jam. But it is only required on 2006+ vehicles.

If you do not have one, then you have to weigh it to find out how much payload you have. Payload will need to cover the weigh of people inside the cab (you, family), anything in the truck bed, and about 80% of the trailer tongue weight when using a weight distributing hitch.
RVing families tend to add at least 1000 pounds of stuff to dry weights. Food, cooking and eating supplies, clothes, toys, chairs, tools, etc. It all ads up quickly.
I recommend sticking to about 5000 pounds dry. Nearly any hybrid will be good. Bunks, queen, slideout in a used trailer under 5k is possible, but rare. Are you willing to upgrade the Ave to a 3/4 ton something?
