OP's not mad nor miserable....I have seen many threads here where folks are asking about technical issues related to outside speakers only to have the threads overrun with comments about peace and quiet. In all my years of camping I've never seen anybody set up a band at a campsite, and wondered if opinions on outdoor music were different if it was live music vs radio.
As was said, I enjoyed it for about 15 mins, then my enjoyment diminished at a ratio equal to the square of time, at which point the weather started to threaten so they packed it up.
We all go camping to relax, enjoy ourselves, and do what we like to do. What bugs me I guess is the lack of consideration. I like to blast my outside speakers when I'm boondocking and there's nobody else within earshot. When I'm staying at a CG they stay OFF, or at a max volume setting of 3 (out of 30), at which point they cannot be heard at all past the edge of the awning.
This is exactly why smoking bans are the norm now....because people didn't have the common courtesy to put their cigarette out if somebody closeby said it was bothering them...
I'm a music lover and this isn't about the music, it's about the common courtesy.
