- rhagfoExplorer IIIOur 5er is stored ready to go on VERY short notice! each of us have a weeks worth of summer and winter cloths. All kitchen appliances, dishes, and flatware.
We also keep much non-perishable food in the rig, we tend to use at least once a month, so nothing sits that long.
Basically we pack for the next trip, right after returning from the last.
Our only kids at home have four legs, besides that it is just the two of us. - Sandia_ManExplorer IIWe store our rig at home and during the camping season it is stocked and ready to go, it is always plugged into shorepower with batteries kept fully charged. Only difference once we winterize the unit is that all food/drink is removed, everything else stays including all audio/video equipment.
- rockhillmanorExplorerNO food, nothing nada. Not even packaged or canned.
- IdaDExplorerEverything but food, water and clothing, although with the clothing we actually have quite a bit of camping clothes that go back in the trailer once it gets washed. We keep our camper at our house so the stuff in the trailer is always readily accessible, and there's a lot of stuff in there.
- downtheroadExplorerWe leave lots of stuff...but the key is not to leave ANY food...anything at all that is edible.
Do leave some clothes, tools, extra basic parts, utensils, glasses, plates, bedding,.....etc. - CloughfamExplorerlinens, once they've been washed and put back in. Some really basic non perishable kitchen items. Appliances, flat ware, dishes cookware stay in rig year round.
