What do you tow behind your Motorhome and what did you have to do to make it towable.

- 2014 Buick Enclave AWD - great towed vehicle. Roadmaster tow bar and baseplate, wired myself with diodes to stock lights. Requires pulling 50 amp fuse underhood and 2 fuses in battery compartment behind pass seat. Use a tall 50 amp in fuse box in place of stock fuse, and ran 2 battery box fuses out to remote fuse holders. Makes it easy to get set-up to tow.
- '08 Buick Enclave FWD, Blue Ox Aventa, Patriot brakes, battery disconnect under the hood, got a charge wire run from motorhome 7-pin to keep the toad battery topped off, and got extra bulbs in the light fixtures for brake & turn. Haven't gone far with it yet, but a ten mile test run was very comfortable.

Previous ...92 Geo Tracker with Roadmaster Stowmaster system..No Brakes ,Very Light! - I tow a 2010 Ford Ranger, manual tranny, with Ready Brake system and Blue Ox tow bar. Just put it in neutal, unlock the steering wheel and go.
- 04 Chevy Astro van. Remco drive shaft disconnect. Working great for 7 years.
- We tow a '06 Hummer H3. It didn't need a baseplate, only tow bar connectors that replaced the two tow rings on the front bumper. Braking is by a Roadmaster 9000 connected to the air system in the coach. Wiring for the lights was installed by Tork Welding. The transfer case is put in neutral and no other changes are needed.
The Hummer replaced a Mustang convertible with a manual transmission. Baseplate was installed by Tork Welding along with wiring for the lights, and we didn't use a braking system.
Both cars have towed well without any problems. - 2013 Hyundai elantra, 6sp trans, added the roadmaster baseplate and the wiring to use the veh lights. Had to add a charge line in Van Horne Tx as it did not have one, I installed the SMI brake system and it works well.
Right now it has more tow miles than driven miles! Weighs 26-2700 lbs, very well appointed for an import has everything but elec seats. Has good safety rating and an abundance of interior and trunk space. - We tow an 09 MINI with a manual transmission hooked to a Blue Ox tow bar. Light and easy!
- 1995 Jeep Wrangler YJ with only 18,000 miles. Easy to hook up, just the tow bar with safety cables, wire harness and quick connect vac line for the vacuum operated toad brake.
