What do you use for a refrigerator Thermometer ?

After searching for a considerable time I decided on this one. I wanted to know what the temp was without opening the door. Found this one @ AMAZON I'm always using something for it's unintende...

I went high tech and occasionally use my cooking thermometer to check both the freezer and refrigerator. Finally if its melting, that is not good.
