A lot of politicians are so far removed from reality that they may actually believe this. This is the same argument for doubling the minimum wage... these politicians believe that the money to pay for tax increases and wage increases comes from pixie dust and positive thinking... they don't believe that it costs REAL money that has to come from the consumer...
