That is interesting. All my life I've thought it was "tinker's d*mn".
After hearing my mother so many times during my childhood yelling "I don't give a tinker's d*mn about (insert just about any topic here)" my imagination conjured up a tinker(er) at his workbench hitting his thumb with a hammer and yelling "D*mn!".
Hadn't thought of that phrase in years. How funny.
Maybe next you can explain just how many of something is "a couple three". Never understood that one either. :)
