what is best tow equipment?

We are new to motorhome travel. We would like any suggestions on what is the best tow equipment for a regular size car. We have priced one place and they are quite expensive so we want to get what others have found easy to use and good value.

    That is a chevy/ford question. We like Roadmaster and have always bought off either eBay or craigslist, as the dealers think theirs are gold plated. Also try ehitch.com for good used towing systems.
