It's true, you will see various responses to the question about 150 lb driver being included (or not) in various ratings. Even here in this thread.
If that 150 lbs is a deal breaker, you're already at a point where you may not like the performance and stability. An unplanned passenger, a generator, some firewood, a fiberglass bed cap, lots of things you might throw in the truck, could put you over.
I would give myself some cushion and figure that 150 lbs is not included. You don't need a ton of cushion, but, it might be nice to know you can add a bed cover, bring a generator, or bring another passenger, if you so desire.
If you have a significant other, like mine, you'll always come home with more stuff, than you had when you left.
