We have a Weber Q1000 (replaced the Q100). It replaced the SideKick RV BBQ that came with our motorhome. To replace the SideKick, it would have cost more than the Q. We were very happy with the SideKick, but the Q is a much better grill.
The Q consumes very little propane compared to other portable grills we've owned. We can get 4 or 5 meals with a 1 lb propane bottle. It is large enough for our family of four; we even use it at home. It does take a little longer to get to temperature, but once there, it maintains temperature well.
We use ours all the time. When camping seasonally, we use it 2, sometimes 3 times a day. We have the griddle plate and use it for breakfast too (although we didn't have much success with pancakes). I find it is very easy to clean.
The only downside I have found is that it is just a little too tall to be stored in an outside compartment on our motorhome. We take the lid off and store them separately. With the SideKick we had to take the lid off too, but we could put it back on after getting both halves into the storage compartment.
