- larry_barnhartExplorerwe were going North on I-5 and the wind was hitting us from the drivers side but no problem for our 2001 dually. This was on the Siskiyou's when I saw a 2500 older truck with a much too large of a camper going to pass us. I told my wife to get ready because the truck was being twisted left to right and out of control. Two ladies were in the front seat and they passed us with out knowing what they looked like. It was bad. It was also good because I told my wife the dually would be best in poor road conditions and it was that day but we were driving under control and a proper speed.
chevman - Cummins12V98Explorer IIINot the dumbest thing I have seen but I do have proof!
Jacked up 2500 heading down the highway bouncing and swerving like a snake. - Gonzo42ExplorerIn CA it is not illegal to 'lane share'. Naturally it has to be done carefully and not at high speed.

Motorcycle riders in California seem to have an especially strong death wish. They think it is appropriate to pass in traffic by squeezing between cars. I had one on the 101 who while a 18 wheeler was passing me passed between me and the truck. He had to duck around the mirrors.

My understanding is that this is actually LEGAL in California. That does not mean I think it is wise. - Oregon_MsExplorerUp by Banff, Jasper. It was a really dry summer and the bears were down low feeding on berries. Warning signs EVERYWHERE.
I watched a guy taking pictures of two grizzly cubs feeding, he was on the edge of a meadow less than twenty feet from them. I pulled over and took pictures of the event from the safety my truck, knowing mom was more than likely in the bushes.
The rangers loved my pic, it took a prominant place the their "what not to do" album. - WILDEBILL308Explorer IIMotorcycle riders in California seem to have an especially strong death wish. Bill - HalmfamilyExplorerNot stupid but gross. Watched an 18 wheeler on I20 westbound hit a deer. All I have to say is wow that was a huge mess. On my way home all you could see was red all over the road and very little left of the deer. Looked like it exploded. Sorry to gross anyone out. Happy Labor Day weekend.
- LaurenExplorerLet's see - I spent 32 years in marketing; lot of time on the road. I could write a book but will summarize with DW Barbara's and my one word answer to most anything........ P E O P L E !!!
- busyguyExplorerI used to drive for a big trucking company. My regular run was Dallas to Houston. I was coming out of Houston early one morning and was near Huntsville on I45. My buddy was behind me and warned me on the CB that a young girl was coming up and driving all over the road. She got up along side my tractor and I looked down into her car. Thought she might have been sleepy. Well she wasn't.'s She was trying to put on her panty hose and kept hitting the steering wheel with her knee's.
I did that run for 8 years 5 days a week and could write a book on the things I have seen going on it cars and trucks. Some of the book would be rated xxx
