misspelled word on this forum??? my favorite: WARRANTY Seriously... how difficult is it to spell check? Does anyone proof read anymore?

People certainly get their dander up where correct spelling is concerned. I don't recall seeing that the intelligence of anyone is impugned if their spelling is incorrect.
But I, for one, will give more credence to the correctly spelled and phrased post over one that contains misspelled words and misused phraseology if the content is the same. In fact I skipped post number 16 because it was too much trouble to be bothered with it.
Lack of education in this day and age is simply no excuse for ignorance any longer. Misspelling and improper word usage will usually show ignorance and carelessness, rather than stupidity.
