misspelled word on this forum??? my favorite: WARRANTY Seriously... how difficult is it to spell check? Does anyone proof read anymore?

X 20! I see this on a lot of forums - so much so I seriously believe many think this is the correct spelling of a speed retarding device! Of course, it doesn't help that "break" is a legitimate word & will be skipped by most spell checkers.
I will however admit to using dot-dot-dot frequently, but even Wikipedia gives me a pass on using it to indicate a slight pause...drumroll please!
