I am educated (a BS and an AA) but can't type worth beans. I am forever typing "teh" or "taht" in lieu of "the" or "that". Why is that?
Hubby was a blue collar worker, a machinist. When he was younger, he was sickly and missed much of second grade. His parents elected to keep him with his classmates rather than to repeat a grade. To this day, he has our daughter and me in stitches with his malapropisms. For instance: reciprocal rather than receptacle. But, he can weld, fix and build things.
