As stated before Four Cornors is on First Nations land and yes they do have booths to sell many different items, etc. When we were there a few years back the actual Four Cornors monument and cairn were quite nice however the parking areas and surrounding area were pretty rundown, rutted, etc. More like open range land with trinket booths.
Can’t say that it was a Ripoff as it was something that we wanted to see when we were in the area. It is aplace that you have to visit with abroad mind and then formulate your opinion of the experience if you feel necessary
