I have read MANY threads lately and there are a lot of people saying that they camp with their fir kids, FUR KIDS? Do these people really think that an animal is a real person?

I can only speak for myself and my wife, NO they are not humans but there is a bond there that is hard to describe. We have had several different cats over the years and I have had a couple of dogs. After 10 to 15years of that companionship and trust they give the feelings are real for us. Hope this helps to understand some.

In a way they get treated better than if they were human kids. Just take my word for it, and don't ask why.

It is just how some people refer to pets. I think 99.1 percent know the difference.My dog (rip) was our first "kid" and now we decided on a cat. Love it to death. I also have 2 "real" kids. I see nothing wrong with people feeling that way.I say lucky pets that have owners like that

Would take my fur kids anyday over real kids,but that's me.

Our fur kid is a 140lb Great Dane, named Fin, he loves traveling w us, and he sleeps w us if its storming out. He and our grandkids get along great, when the gkids come c us (while running) its finny we missed u, hey what r papa & nana chopped liver :)

Our "boys" are wonderful joys for us. They entertain us and love us unconditionally! No matter if we have been gone an hour or 5 minutes, they are so very happy to see us again. I swear that sometimes they really are smiling.
