I, too, wouldn't recommend a new RV. My 2014 Voltage has had its share of issues in the 18 months I've owned it.
Latest was today when I took down the main cabin TV. What I found was the TV mount had only one screw (out of four) actually holding everything onto the wall. The other three long screws did not screw into any wall studs, only paper-thin wall paneling. Guess that's why we have to strap these things down.
This is only one example of many but it tells me that the workers in the RV industry are either poorly trained, aren't supervised, don't care, or all of the above. It's enough for me to never buy another new RV.
