I appreciate the feedback and support on this thread. Overall we are very happy with our older Class C. It is 16 years old and going strong. We had a series of relatively minor mechanical problems (chasis) on our last trip out West to Yellowstone. It got me thinking about buying new in a few years and my post tells the rest of the story. I hope to nurse this RV along maybe beyond the 20 year mark. Our up front investment on a used RV wasn't earth shaking like it is on a new RV. Yes, it needed some work, but again, buying new doesn't solve that issue as we are finding out. Thanks again. Todd
