Wow. Good post. Wife and I were just talking about this. To me the RV is just so darn cozy! With all it's negatives it is still a blast and most all of the people we have met are fantastic.
It's so interesting to meet all sorts of different people. People in something that's $300,000 and people living in a $300.00 mini van. I have hung out at the campfire with a guy dying of cancer. Another young guy hiking the Florida trail. People traveling on bicycles. Helped a guy get his dead motorhome going as the campground owner was waiting because someone else was on the way for that spot. (Betty's RV Park). Abbelville La start of summer concert series downtown square.
Louisiana/Mississippi was one of our best people areas so far :)
I was looking for a camp ground near Tallahassee and just thought I'd ask a guy shopping in Walmart. He said he thought he knew where it was but got his ex wife on the phone to be sure. I was telling him NO NO you dont have to do that. As I was checking out he came up in line and handed me his home and cell number and said if I have any trouble at all just call him.
