It's hard to put it into words without being sappy. We have traveled the world with the exception of Africa and no matter where we were, I always wanted to go someplace else. Now that we're limited to the No. American continent, I like going to someplace where I can look at the wonders of home(USA). It is true what my signature says, "To go is the thing".
The others who are nomadic like us and that we meet in passing are the nicest folks and are quick with providing help and information on places we haven't been. Dinners in RV park diners, coffee around the campfire, our grandkids making s'mores, the green flash at sunset on the beach. Visiting a temperate rain forest where the moss seems not only to grow all the way around the trees, but seems to grow in the air. Photographing a herd of wild mustangs or walking through the fresh spring grass in a meadow.
And most important, being able to relive all those memories with each other, our kids, grandkids and friends.
I could go on and on but this isn't an autobiographic forum so, yes it is all those things other travelers have said and more.
