Tough question. Growing up, working, spending our entire lives clinging to this little 20sq mile rock along with 60,000 other clingons, simply having the room to move is a big deal.
Of course there is the meeting of people, even if only once, that is special. It is also great to keep in contact with those who some really great times have been had.
