Sorry, i don't beleive a word you are saying. I've towed the same Jeep CJ for over 10 years without a single problem. I would say i put about 50,000 towing miles on that Jeep driving from PA to Colorado, into the mountians, to the plains of Nebraska. It was the daily driver in the winter time, and sometimes in the summer. Shoirtly before i sold it, i went through the whole drivetrain to replace the seals and everything still looked and felt like new. It was a 1954 CJ3B that i got in the mid 70's with a spun bearing. Previous owner used it for plowing snow in Ohio.
