We keep a plastic bag in a plastic trash container under the sink, and dump it as needed. I've occasionally kept a large trash bag in an outside compartment If a dumpster is not available, and I need to store the kitchen bags. Our MH has 2 doors to the under sink storage area (one is accessible from the entry stairs) so even garbage created outside goes there.
I have a stand for my BBQ where I will fasten a recycling bag underneath, but I usually place it in an outside compartment at night.
Wildlife is usually an issue where we camp, so we never leave anything outside at night.
