We hang our trash bag on the outside of our OFF-ROAD POPUP when camping. This is my last chore each evening to take the trash bag to the camp ground dumpster.
When camping in bear country and there is no dumpster close by I will tie a rope onto my trash bag and raise up on tree limb so the animals can get to it...
Most places we camp have a dumpster but there are some that don't. In our case leaving the trash inside the tent camper would not be a good idea.
