That said never have had that happen! The only time I have had more than two or three behind me was heavy traffic and just one big long line.
I once had a car doing between 45 and 50 in a 55 zone on a two lane. I was the first vehicle behind them, as we came to straightaways I would ride the right side of the lane to give the cars behind me the opportunity to pass, I had no takers we were up to about 7 vehicles behind us. When we came to the next straightaway I flipped on the left turn signal, and all 50' and 19,500#'s of us passed that car and left them putting a long, we were doing about 70 as we came back into our lane. It is amazing what a little in line six can do when asked.
