That said never have had that happen! The only time I have had more than two or three behind me was heavy traffic and just one big long line.
If I pick up a parasite who won't pass me, even if I drop to 45mph, I figure they're just not paying attention. A couple of lane weaves, off the shoulder and back usually will wake them up to realize they're tailgating a crazy person and should back off. It almost always works.
You missed t part of my statement:).
On two lane roads i tend to roll along the speed of traffic, so seldom with no one if front of me do I have more than two cars behind me.
