We used turnouts extensively on our Alaska trip last year. They were well marked and the Milepist Magazine had them listed so they were easy to find and use. Our beef is that the turnouts are not marked or the signage is so close to the turnout that we do not have time to stop and many of them are not big enough for our rig. We use them when we can as we really dislike tailgaters.
