If you need to transport someone in an emergency situation, be sure your in a vehicle with a siren and flashing lights on top. Otherwise, your at the mercy of the conditions of the road. I'm sure as heck not going to drive my kid with a compound fracture anywhere.
This whole topic is warped - sure, maybe I'll pull over for a line of cars, but as someone already stated, pulling a TT or driving an RV down a two lane road, you will never be rid of tailgaters, or a line of cars. How many times do I have to pull over - again and again and again to make you happy? Where do my rights come into play? I just paid a whole lot of taxes on that tank of gas for the upkeep of this road.
The roads are a public commodity, and people driving all sorts of vehicles have the right to use them. If your bothered by the one in front of you, then it's your problem. I'm not bending over backward to let every speed demon by me - they can pass when conditions allow and be PO'd about it miles down the road - its their lifespan their shortening, not mine.
It REALLY doesn't happen that often to get all worked up over, and I'm betting it only happened hypothetically for most posters on this thread - including the OP! Good Grief!
Flame suit on! Flame thrower turned to max to return fire!
Have a good day :P
