Sep 13, 2013Stick with what you have. Even if you get your own account and your receivers are unplugged for a few days you'll have to call Dish to get them reactivated. We have a receiver in a guest bedroom that we keep disconnected and we have to call Dish to get it reactivated when we have company or take it with us in the RV.
BTW, the 211 receiver sucks up 26 watts when is "turned off."
