After having been a DirecTV customer for many years I discontinued the service about 1 1/2 years ago since I found that most RV parks I visit already have cable. Or, if I'm near a fairly large city I can watch over-the-air programming (the program content of TV in smaller towns is usually dismal).
That being said I'm currently considering going back to DirecTV. Why? According to their advertising I can obtain the service at a substantially lower monthly rate than previously.
I did like DirecTV when I had it and also appreciated being able to receive programming no matter where I was located, with few exceptions. I don't know if I'll go through with this but it does merit my serious consideration...
