So many good memories it's hard to pick, but I have two that stand out.
At Jubilee Lake (Blue Mtns, NE Oregon) in Mid Sept 2 years ago, very few people there. I remember waking up to the mist on the lake and elk bugling from the other side. A perfect moment for sure. It's already postcard perfect there at any time.
Bull Prairie Campground, a favorite of ours in the middle of nowhere Central Oregon, Eclipse week. We got there nearly a week early because everything was expected to fill and managed to snag the prime site. Some friends joined us and we had a relaxing time with perfect weather and only 1 or 2 other people in the campground right up until the day before. Then the eclipse itself and making some new friends at the campground that night.
