Bull Prairie Campground, a favorite of ours in the middle of nowhere Central Oregon, Eclipse week. We got there nearly a week early because everything was expected to fill and managed to snag the prime site. Some friends joined us and we had a relaxing time with perfect weather and only 1 or 2 other people in the campground right up until the day before. Then the eclipse itself and making some new friends at the campground that night.
Oh, my. That was a lovely trip to see the eclipse. The only problem was the hangover the next day. One of the new friends was from Russia, and not only did she bring (and cook) some lovely Russian dishes that I'd never had, she also brought vodka, and showed us how they do it there. That is, lots of toasts to each other, chased by pickle juice, repeat until you have no more vodka.
