Oh, my. That was a lovely trip to see the eclipse. The only problem was the hangover the next day. One of the new friends was from Russia, and not only did she bring (and cook) some lovely Russian dishes that I'd never had, she also brought vodka, and showed us how they do it there. That is, lots of toasts to each other, chased by pickle juice, repeat until you have no more vodka.
