What's the strongest single deep cell12 volt battery?

I was gonna swap over to a 2 6 volt battery system being I was led to believe that's a better way to go. But now realize the will not fit in my campers battery compartment, so now I'm wondering wha...

how wide is that compartment
a trojan 1275, just might shoehorn in there
depth and height will clear
slide a piece of thick vynl over the top of the battery to prevent any accidental contact on rough roads
