What's this in my black tank?
Was replacing my toilet today, and got a good look at my black tank down the poop chute. Looks like a ledge or a wall. I always thought the bottom was flat with a slight slope. Any ideas? See pic below.

- Like beemerphile said. The sides of the tank are "stepped" to rest on the tank supports. The hole in the the top of the tank for the toilet pipe is very close to the edge of the tank. It's probably between a half an inch and an inch.
- You are looking at the location where the tank sits on mounts. Mine is like that the full length on both sides. Looking underneath there are steel angle mounts bolted to the trailer frame.
- That's the bottom of the tank
- That is a 'dispersement' ledge to help distribute stuff vs just plopping down into one spot.
