I've been surprised over the years, but there are a significant number of rigs less than a year old up for sale.
Like the 5er in question, the original purchaser decided a motorhome was a better fit.
A lot of people buy a first RV, find it isn't a good fit for their style of camping, and have the means and the desire to go to a better fit for they camping quickly. While the financial loss may be substantial, if they can afford the cost, it beats camping with the wrong rig for months and months.
