One thing to keep in mind.With my situation we started with a 5th wheel.That worked until stroke happened an than my partner was unable to climb steps not only to get in rv but when in was unable to get from bed in front to necessary room many times during day an night.So answer to that is we went to bumper trailer thinking that would solve problem. It did not!Finally have a class a with a lift.for getting in an out This has solved many problems for me.Remember with a toy hauler you still will have to get person in an out of pick up truck as you travel.As time goes on this will become harder for person an those helping.Remember you can not travel with person in trailer of any kind.
