I mounted up a Burr Handy lift on mine because it was simple unit. I had to extend the plate an extra 12 inches to fit a wheelchair. I keep my weight closest to the trailer and it works great. My shower did the same thing after 2 trips. They sent the RV shop some corner trim pieces to strengthen all the vertical edges where there is no support behind the wall in the corners. Mine also didn't have a gray water tank roof vent. It was vented on top of the tank with a 90 degree fitting. When I got it I couldn't even put fuel in the generator tank because the line went upwards. That was also fixed under warranty. Leaking water fittings to sinks and loose water heater line that started leaking. Good thing we don't get much rain here in Cali. Where the front cap of trailer meets the top it wasn't sealed very well. Friend at the RV shop caught it on his full check over. There's even more too. Unfortunately I actually know something about how things are supposed to be so I have noticed more than most people would normally.

That's the same reason we went with Dunesport.....to have the larger shower (8ft x 5ft). The floorplan is great for my husband but it's the shotty work and cheap materials that has me more upset than anything. Come to find out, the a/c in the bedroom would never work...the ceiling unit did not match up with the roof unit. I still can't figure that one out. We haven't used the camper since November of last year and I went out there this weekend to clean it for our trip next week. The floor behind the wheelwell on the driver's side had a huge stain from water damage and the floor was very soft. They didn't seal the wheelwell very well and water can get into the underbelly and it stays there until it evaporates out. All of our trim is coming off and the caulking around the shower has separated from the shower. All the rubber trim on the outside has come out and the front corner came completely apart where they put some screws in but they missed the wood (this happened last year). Hopefully now since we are fixing things the way they should be things will start to get better and my disapproval of Dunesport won't be so bad lol. I hope things go better for you as well!

I received my 24 foot H4 last August 2013 and have had quite a few issues with mine also. The only reason I went that route is that I wanted an accessible bathroom and the wider side door to mount my wheelchair lift. I have a friend with an RV repair shop and Dunesport did pay him to make the repairs. A lot of stupid mistakes and just careless work for sure. I spend a few months thinking about everything I wanted so mine came out pretty good as far as layout goes but I have been fixing and cleaning up items since for sure. Mine has the fiberglass walls that someone else makes so maybe that will be better than the stuff they build themselves. Well see how it goes. More issues have come up, so we'll see if they take care of me again.

Hi there! Yes we did receive our camper on July 19 of last year. It wasn't as wheelchair accessibile as we were made to beleive but we were able to make a few slight changes and make it work for us (ie: the bed was extremely tall to allow for the generator storage compartment....we decided a lower bed was more important that the storage space and we wouldn't ever use a generator right below our heads so we lowered it 8 inches). We were thrilled with it when we first got it and I guess in our excitement we overlooked the cheapness of the whole thing. We had an issue with the a/c in the bedroom from the beginning and we finally was able to take it in for warranty repair. After 7 weeks and lots of lies from the owner of the company we finally got the camper back. Overall, we decided that the old saying is true...you get what you pay for. It'll work for our first camper but I don't know how long it will last or how long we will keep it. At first I bragged and bragged on Dunesport and even included them (for free advertising) in several articles I wrote for RV'ing Accessibility Group. Now, after seeing how far the owner will take a lie and the cheapness I highly do NOT recommend Dunesport. Go ahead and spend an extra $10,000 and get a NICE camper and something you can be proud of.

Sounds like they are working with you some, that's good to hear.

I had a request via email from my salesman to call them at my earliest convenience a few days ago. When I called I was transferred to upper management. After hearing some back story on why they are running late and listening to upper management take full blame for the breakdown of communication and allowing us to fall through the cracks we determined that as of right now we are slotted to be completed on July 16th. He is optimistic that it might be done a week or so earlier but we won't know anything more definite until mid June. However, this is what made things a little better for me...he stated that if it gets to the point where we can't pick it up, in order to make this right, they would either meet us where ever we wanted (halfway or where ever) or they could deliver it for half cost. Atleast they are willing to try to make things better. We are still wanting to go pick it up as this was going to be our two week vacation as well, providing there are no more delays and we can get back in time for school to start. So we are just playing it by ear for the time being but I feel better now that I've spoke to upper management. Hopefully I'll have a good update mid June for everyone!
