wheels on towed vehical not following in a turn

The wheels on my 2012 GMC Terrain remain in a straight position when I go around corners as if they were lock but they are not. The car is in neutral with the key in the on position. After three month...

Thank you all for your input. The solution to my problem after 5 months was to put a disconnect switch between the engine compartment fuse box and the electric power steering motor. The power steering was holding the wheels in the straight forward position.
