We mainly camp at Alabama State Parks, Wind Creek SP and Oak Mountain SP are our two favorites. Never had an issue at any of them. Wind Creek has great security. Two gates to get into the park and Rangers on constant patrol. Have even seen a group of kids doing some roadside mowing, weed eating and cleaning when the were caught doing some mischievous things last year. Thought it was great to see the park maintenance workers sitting there while watching the kids work. It was great deterrent for my kids not to get into trouble. Great job Alabama State Parks.
