My son & I have been camping since March 2006. I don't have an accurate count but I would guesstimate 25 nights per year.
In all that time we've had TWO experiences that were annoying/reportable. One occurred one of the 4 nights we were tent-camping. The other occurred when we had the pop-up and were in a water-only site, hence NOT using the AC or heater.
I find using the AC takes care of barking dogs, loud/drunk neighbors, screaming children, thumping music, etc., etc. Of course in Texas during 9 months f the year-- you need AC anyway. ;)
