We traveled in our RV several miles south off Interstate 10 out of the small town of Ehrenberg along Ox Bow Road (bladed gravel) that follows the Colorado River out in open country.
It was quiet and serene along the Colorado River with an interesting and somewhat unusual landscape, including rolling hills and valleys of sand and rock running back aways from, and roughly parallel to, the river. My photo was taken from on one of those hills. We didn't overnight in our RV, but there were a lot of boondock camping spots in the area. A large ATV/UTV OHV area was also there with their trails spread out over some of the rolling hills and valleys.
