Been there, done that, but other than being on the Oregon coast I don't remember exactly where, or any name.

That's good enough! The name is rather intuative: Arch Rock and it is south of Gold Beach on the southern Oregon coast. My picture was taken in '04. We had to have taken those pictures just a few paces either way. If in the area, the rock now has a brewery named after it: http://archrockbrewingcompany.com/
