Unfortunately I don't think that's correct for our application, nor is it the right part to solve the problem. I researched those extensively. They are for newer ovens and they are for the oven control (the knob goes on that). Our problem is with the safety valve at the back of the oven - it's not opening to let gas to the burner.
I did find a safety valve for $280, but I don't know if they're really in stock and the cost is more than a "new" oven.
