It's "fixed" now:

For those replacing an old Wedgewood, in this case a T2130 with a new RV-1735: the rough cut outs are different. I measured beforehand so I wasn't surprised at the 3/4" gap at the top rear, nor the 3/4" gap under the oven door. You can't really see it unless you're looking for it but I know it's there. I may add some trim on the counter to keep stuff from falling down in there, but I'm going to leave the bottom alone. I was more concerned with the width (the mounting screws go into the sides) which was spot on versus the old unit.
I wouldn't do business with this guy again - it's a little more beat up than they mentioned, has been apart (i.e., not just a "take out") and is missing the rubber grommets for the grate...but for $180 to my door I can't complain.
