I hung mine on the ladder rack. I carried them for months and months and many tens of thousands of miles. I barely used them. For one thing they were heavy and a big nuisance to deal with. Once in a long while we eat outside at a picnic table but other than that I rarely spend much time in the campground. Now I have old fashioned, light weight aluminum chairs which we actually use...at least once in a while.
I suppose it comes down to what RVing means to you. I travel, sightsee, do photography and enjoying experiencing national parks and other areas of exceptional beauty. I rarely sit in the campground.
