Where do you store your Shoes, Boots, Sandals and Slippers

Muddy shoes/work boots go in the basement compartment that's right next to the entrance steps. Normal shoes go in front of the couch or recliner and are a bit of a pain sometimes. Extra shoes go in this weird space between the nightstand and the base of the bed. Enough space there for 2 pairs of shoes. Pairs 4 through 11?? for DW go in one of her overhead cabinets.
