Where to buy batteries?

Need to pick up a pair of Trojan T105s. I don't have any 6v cores, so will have to pay the core charge. Where does everyone order their batteries? Hunting a local source in Denver too. Thanks!

Sam's club and COSTCO around here for the 6V high AHs golf cart batteries... Good prices too... You can get their best one for around $90 each.

I usually get away with just bringing in any old battery for cores. No one ever says anything and gives me credit...

You can also order these on-line but most companies will not ship direct to your house but will ship to a local gas station of auto shop... Then you can go down their and pick them up...

Yes they are good/great but lots of people swear by the Costco equivalent

I hear you! But the two Costco's closest to me only carry 12v deep cycle marine. Do you have a part number or link to their 6v?
  • Can you Sam's Club folks tell me which ones you used? I don't have a Sam's membership unfortunately, but might be able to find a friend that does.

If you have tall enough space I'd suggest considering 12 volt surplus acid AGM jars that are "take outs" from cell phone tower back up power banks. Several of us have been using them with good success.

Thanks!! Battery box isn't tall enough though :(
  • I used a pair of inexpensive, flooded, 6 volt, golf cart batteries from Sam's club. Ran those for 6 years and sold them with the RV. Still going strong.
  • I recently upgraded from a single 12V battery to a pair of 6V golf cart batteries. I purchased my batteries at Sam's Club and they accepted a couple of 12V cores, the one out of the coach and another I just happened to have.
